The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it is actually alarmed with regard to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The service stage designed for intervention activities a superior inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tough for your office sassa to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
